   After listening to you talk about your Grandfather for a few minutes (you should write something down), it's obvious that he lived a full and worthy life.

   PPS. I know how spelling mistakes capture your attention, so I deliberately inserted one in the above to distract you from your grief (and mixed tenses a bit for good measure).
